Trace4EO (“Disruptive Technologies for Provenance of EO Data”) is an initiative creating an open-source prototype for EO data provenance, tested in real-life scenarios.

Who’s Behind It
The project is led by a consortium of European innovators:
- Guardtime (Estonia): Global leader in data integrity and provenance technologies.
- CloudFerro (Poland): Provider of cloud infrastructure for EO platforms.
- Alt239 (France): Experts in EO and metadata management.
When It Starts
The project officially began on June 16, 2025.
